تاج الشرف أبو البركات نعمة بن أحمد بن أحمد الزيدي رئيس المؤذنين بالجامع الكبير بالقاهرة أحد الفضلاء في علم المواقيت. تفقه على مذهب الإمام أبي عبد الله مالك بن أنس –﵁ وعلى الإمام أبي المنصور ظافر بن الحسين الأزدي بمصر. ثم اشتغل بعلم المواقيت حتى برع فيه وتقدم على أقرانه، ونظم فيه أرجوزة، وحدث بها، وانتفع به جماعة. روى عنه شيخنا أبو الطاهر إسماعيل بن عبد الرحمان بن أحمد الكاتب، وغيره.٣٩٠ - وفي الحادي عشر من جمادى الآخرة توفي الأمير الأجل
