أبو المكارم الحسن بن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمان بن عبد الله الجباب التميمي السعدي الأغلبي ومولده سنة سبع وثلاثين وخمس مئة. حدث عن الحافظ أبي طاهر أحمد بن محمد الأصبهاني. ذكر القاضي أبو عبد الله محمد بن علي الأنصاري أنه سمع منه بثغر دمياط. وكان ولي حكم الإسكندرية في شهر ربيع الآخر سنة أربع وستين وخمس مئة ولم يزل حاكما بها إلى أن توفي. وكان يراجع الفقيه أبا الطاهر بن عوف فيما يشكل من الأحكام. ⦗٢٥٤⦘ وهو من بيت التقدم والرياسة والفضيلة والحديث. حدث جماعة من أهل بيته.٣٣٧ - وفي ليلة التاسع من جمادى الآخرة توفي الشيخ الفقيه
