أبو محمد عبد الله ابن القاضي السعيد أبي الحسن علي بن عثمان بن يوسف القرشي المخزومي الشافعي العدل الأديب ⦗٢٥٠⦘ بالقاهرة، ودفن بسفح المقطم. ومولده في شهر رمضان سنة تسع وأربعين وخمس مئة. قرأ الكثير على العلامة أبي محمد عبد الله بن بري النحوي. وأجاز له جماعة كبيرة. وله شعر كتبنا منه شيئا عن أصحابه. وكان مشهورا بالإيثار مبسوط اليد بالصدقة حتى تصدق بالعجين. وقد حدث والده، وغير واحد من إخوته وأهل بيته، وبيتهم بيت مشهور بالحديث والكتابة والتقدم.٣٢٨ - وفي ليلة التاسع عشر من جمادى الأولى توفي الشيخ الصالح
