أبو العباس أحمد بن علي بن طلحة بن عبد الله بن جامع العدل الواسطي، بها، ودفن من الغد. ومولده في شوال سنة تسع عشرة وخمس مئة. سمع بواسط من أبي الكرم نصر الله بن محمد بن مخلد الأزدي، وأبي السعادات المبارك بن الحسين بن نغوبا، وأبي الجوائز سعد بن عبد الكريم الغندجاني، وأبي الحسن علي بن هبة الله بن عبد السلام وغيرهم. وحدث ببغداد، وواسط. وولي نيابة الحكم العزيز بواسط.٣١٩ - وفي الثامن والعشرين من صفر توفي الحكيم الفاضل
