أبو العباس أحمد بن علي بن يحيى بن محمد بن بذال البغدادي الحريمي المستعمل المعروف بابن النفيس، ببغداد، ودفن بباب حرب من الغد. ومولده سنة تسع وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي القاسم هبة الله بن محمد بن الحصين، وأبي غالب أحمد بن الحسن ابن البناء، وأبي المواهب أحمد بن محمد بن ملوك، وأبي منصور عبد الرحمان بن محمد القزاز، وغيرهم. وحدث، سمع منه أبو المحاسن الحافظ ومات قبله بسبع عشرة سنة. وبذال: بفتح الباء الموحدة وتشديد الذال المعجمة وبعد الألف لام.٣٠٦ - وفي الرابع والعشرين من المحرم توفي الشيخ الأجل
