أبو جعفر عبد الله بن أحمد بن جعفر المقرئ الواسطي الضرير ⦗٢٣٤⦘ ببغداد، ودفن من الغد. ومولده بواسط سنة ثلاث وخمس مئة. قرأ القرآن الكريم على أبي عبد الله الحسين بن محمد البارع وغيره. وسمع من أبي القاسم بن الحصين، وأبي غالب محمد بن الحسن الماوردي، وأبوي الحسن: علي بن عبيد الله بن نصر ابن الزاغوني وسعد الخير بن محمد بن سهل الأنصاري، وأبي الفتح عبد الملك بن أبي القاسم الكروخي، والحافظ أبي الفضل محمد بن ناصر السلامي. وأقرأ، وحدث.٢٩٨ - وفي هذا اليوم أيضا توفي الشيخ الأجل
