أبو الفضل الحسين بن أحمد بن الحسين بن سعد بن علي بن بندار الهمذاني اليزدي الحنفي حدث بجدة عن الشريف شميلة بن محمد بن جعفر الحسيني وتوجه قاصدا إلى مصر فتوفي بمدينة قوص من صعيد مصر الأعلى، وحمل ميتا إلى مصر، ودفن بجبانتها في سفح المقطم بتربة الحنفية. سمع منه الفقيه أبو الجود ندى بن عبد عبد الغني الحنفي. وذكر بعض أصحاب اليزدي أنه كان تحت يده إحدى عشرة أو اثنتا عشرة مدرسة وفيها من الطلبة ألف ومئة طالب.٢٦٥ - وفي الثامن من شهر ربيع الأول توفي الفقيه الأجل المرتضى
