أبو الفتح محمود بن أبي نصر محمد بن أحمد بن الحسين بن محمود الفروخي الكاتب الأواني، ببغداد. ومولده في شهر رمضان سنة ثلاث وعشرين وخمس مئة. ⦗٢٠٩⦘ حدث بشيء من شعره وتصانيف أبيه. وأوانا: بفتح الهمزة وتخفيف الواو وفتحها وبعد الألف نون وألف وهي مقصورة: بلدة على مسيرة يوم من بغداد. وفي نواحي الموصل بقرب البلد المعروف ببلد قرية يقال لها أيضا أوانا.٢٤٠ - وفي ليلة الخامس من شعبان توفي الشيخ الفقيه الزاهد
