أبو السعود نصر بن يحيى بن محمد بن عبد الله بن حميلة البغدادي الحربي المعروف بابن الشناء، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بباب حرب إلى جانب قبر منصور بن عمار الزاهد. ومولده سنة خمس عشرة وخمس مئة. سمع من أبوي القاسم: ابن الحصين وعبد الله بن أحمد بن يوسف، والقاضيين: أبي بكر محمد بن عبد الباقي وأبي الحسين محمد بن محمد ابن الفراء وغيرهم. وحدث. سمع منه الحافظ أبو المحاسن الدمشقي. والشناء: بفتح الشين المعجمة وتشديد النون وفتحها وبعدها ألف. وحميلة: بضم الحاء المهملة وفتح الميم وسكون الياء آخر الحروف وبعد اللام المفتوحة تاء تأنيث.٢٣٩ - وفي رجب توفي الأديب
