أبو القاسم بن فيره بن خلف بن أحمد الرعيني الشاطبي المقرئ الفقيه الحافظ النحوي الضرير، بالقاهرة، ودفن من الغد بالتربة الفاضلية بسفح المقطم. ومولده في آخر سنة ثمان وثلاثين وخمس مئة. ⦗٢٠٨⦘ قرأ القرآن الكريم بالقراءات على أبي الحسن علي بن محمد بن هذيل، وأبي عبد الله محمد بن علي النفزي. وسمع من أبي الحسن علي بن محمد بن هذيل، وحدث عنه، وعن أبي الحسن علي بن النعمة. وتصدر للإقراء بالمدرسة الفاضلية إلى حين وفاته. وانتفع به جماعة كبيرة. وكان كثير المحفوظات جامعا لفنون من العلم.٢٣٨ - وفي ليلة العشرين من رجب توفي الشيخ
