أبو محمد الحسن، ويقال اسمه ثابت، بن أبي سعد المظفر بن أبي علي الحسن بن المظفر بن الحسن بن المظفر ابن السبط الهمذاني الأصل البغدادي المولد والدار، ببغداد، ودفن من يومه بباب حرب. سمع من جده أبي علي الحسن بن المظفر. وجد أبيه المظفر هو المعروف بالسبط لأنه كان سبط الفقيه أبي بكر أحمد بن علي بن لال الهمذاني. وهو من بيت الحديث، حدث هو، وأبوه وجده، وجد أبيه، وعمه أبو القاسم هبة الله بن الحسن.٢٠٣ - وفي رجب توفي الشيخ الصالح
