أبو الفرج أحمد بن أبي السعادات المبارك بن الحسين بن عبد الوهاب بن الحسين بن نغوبا الواسطي النغوبي ومولده في العشرين من شعبان سنة خمس مئة. حدث عن أبي القاسم الفضل بن الحسين بن تركان، والحافظ أبي الكرم خميس بن علي الحوزي، وأبي تغلب محمد بن الحسن بن عجيف، وأبي سعيد محمد بن كمار بن الحسن وغيرهم. ونغوبا: اسم ضيعة لجده كان يكثر العبور إليها فسمي بها.١٣٩ - وفي شهر ربيع الأول توفي الشيخ
