أبو القاسم عبد الرحمان بن محمد بن غالب المقرئ، ودفن من الغد بمقبرة أم سلمة بقرطبة. وكان أخذ القراءات عن أبي الحسن شريح بن محمد بن شريح الرعيني، وأبي القاسم عبد الرحمان بن أحمد بن رضا وغيرهما. وسمع من أبي القاسم أحمد بن محمد بن بقي، وأبي الحسن يونس بن محمد بن مغيث القرطبي، وأبي عبد الله محمد بن نجاح الأموي. وأقرأ الناس بالمسجد الجامع بقرطبة وغيره زمانا. وكان الناس يرحلون إليه لجلالته وعلو روايته.١١٥ - وفي ليلة الحادي عشر من جمادى الآخرة توفي القاضي الأجل
