المرتضى أبو المجد عبد الرحمان بن أبي الحسن علي بن عبد العزيز بن علي بن قريش القرشي المخزومي بظاهر عكا شهيدا، ودفن بالقدس. ومولده سنة أربع وعشرين وخمس مئة. سمع بالاسكندرية من أبوي الطاهر: أحمد بن محمد الحافظ وإسماعيل بن مكي الفقيه، والشريف أبي محمد عبد الله بن عبد الرحمان العثماني، وسمع بمصر من أبي الحسن علي بن عبد الرحمان السلمي اللغوي، وأبي الفتح محمود بن أحمد المحمودي.١١١ - وفي سحرة الرابع عشر من جمادى الأولى توفي القاضي الأجل
