أبو المفضل عبد المجيد بن الحسين بن يوسف بن الحسن بن أحمد بن دليل الكندي الخطي الاسكندراني، بها ودفن من الغد. سمع بالاسكندرية من الإمام أبي بكر محمد بن الوليد الفهري الطرطوشي. وحدث، حدثنا عنه الفقيه أبو التقى صالح بن بدر الشافعي. وشاهدت بخطه: وكان مولدي في الرابع عشر من شهر رمضان سنة ثلاث وتسعين وأربع مئة. والخطي: يفتح الخاء المعجمة وكسر الطاء المهملة وتشديدها يشبه أن يكون نسبة إلى بطن من كندة. ودليل: بضم الدال المهملة وفتح اللام وسكون الياء آخر الحروف وآخره لام.٨٧ - وفي الرابع والعشرين من شوال توفي
