أبو غالب إبراهيم بن عبد الأعلى بن أحمد بن مكي العدل الخطيب الواسطي، بها، ودفن من الغد. ومولده في شعبان سنة ثمان وخمس مئة. سمع من أبيه ومن أبي الكرم نصر الله بن مخلد الأزدي، والقاضي أبي علي الحسن بن إبراهيم الفارقي وأبي الحسن علي بن هبة الله بن عبد السلام وأبي السعادات المبارك بن الحسين بن نغوبا، وغيرهم. ⦗٧٨⦘ وحدث بواسط، وبغداد.٣٢ - وفي أول هذه السنة توفي الشيخ الأجل
