٣٦٨٦ - عِياض بن حِمَار (¬٢) بن محمّد بن سفيان ابن مجاشع بن دارم بن مالك بن حنظلة بن مالك بن زيد مناة بن تميم. وفد على النّبيّ، ﷺ، قبل أن يسلم ومعه نَجِيبَة يهديها إلى رسول الله، ﷺ، فقال: آسلمتَ؟ (¬٣) قال: لا: قال: إنَّ الله نهانا أن نقبل زَبْد المشركين. قال: فأسلم فقبلها رسول الله، ﷺ، فقال: يا نبيّ الله، الرجل من قومى من أسفل منى يشتمنى أفأنتصر منه؟ فقال: المستبّان شيطانان يتكاذبان. وروى عنه أيضًا غير ذلك، ثمّ نزل البصرة فروى عنه البصريّون. * * *
