    ٥٤٦ - وأخوه: عَبْدُ الرحمن بن مِرْبَع ابن قَيْظِي بن عَمرو بن زَيد بن جُشم بن حارثة، وأمه عُميرَة بنت ظُهَير بن رافع بن عَدي بن زيد بن جُشَم بن حارثة [شهد] مع أخيه أُحدًا، وقُتل معه يوم جسر أبي عبيد شهيدًا ولا عَقِبَ (¬١) له. وكان لعبد الله وعبد الرحمن أيضًا أخوان من أبيهما وأمهما يقال لهما زَيد ومُرارَة وقد صحبا النبي، ﷺ، ولم يشهدا أُحُدًا، وكان أبوهم مِرْبَع بن قَيظي منافقًا وكان أعمى، فلما خرج رسولُ الله، ﷺ، إلى أُحدٍ سَلَكَ في حائطٍ له فَجَعَلَ يحثو الترابَ في وجوههم، ويقول: إن كنتَ رسولًا فلا تدخل حائطي، فضربه سَعْدُ بنُ زيد الأشهلي بقوس فَشَجَّهُ في رأسه فَنَزَا الدمُ. * * *
