٣٠٧٧- السائب بن العوّام القرشي «٢» : الأسدي، أخو الزبير شقيقه. روى البخاريّ والبلاذريّ، من طريق هشام بن عروة عن أبيه، أنه استشهد باليمامة. وكذا ذكره موسى بن عقبة وابن إسحاق. ورأيت في ديوان حسّان رواية أبي سعيد السكري عن ابن حبيب: وليس للسائب بن العوام عقب. وقد شهد بدرا. وذكر ابن الكلبيّ أنه شهد الخندق وغيرها.
