مسعود بن محمد بن محمد الإمام الفاضل قوام الدين ابن الشيخ برهان الدين ابن الشيخ الإمام شرف الدين الكرماني الحنفي. قدِم دمشق في شهر ربيع الأول سنة اثنتين وعشرين وسبع مئة، ونزل الخاتونية بالقصّاعين، وحضر عنده الجماعة، ودخل الى تنكز، وتردد إليه الطلبة، وكان يعرف الفقه والأصول العربية، وكان عنده بحث ونظر وجدال، ولوالده وجدّه مصنّفات في العلوم.
