محمد بن محمد بن علي بن أبي طاهر القاضي شمس الدين بن جلال الدين الموسوي الحسيني المعروف بقاضي ملطية. كان خطيباً بملطية مدة، ثم جمع له بين القضاء والخطابة بملطيّة مدة أخرى. ولما حضر الى دمشق بعد فتح ملطية ولي تدريس الخاتونية ظاهر دمشق. واستمر بها الى أن مات في حادي عشري جمادى الآخرة سنة تسع عشرة وسبع مئة، وعمره ستون سنة. وحجّ من دمشق، وكان قاضي الركب. وكان عنده حظّ من الأدب، وفيه مشاركة وله شعرٌ، وتولى مكانه القاضي بدر الدين محمد بن الفويرة.
