    محمد بن محمد بن أحمد ابن عبد الواحد، عماد الدين بن شرف الدين بن الزملكاني، وهو ابن عم الشيخ كمال الدين بن الزملكاني. كان شكلاً حسناً طوالاً، وكان خطه حسناً، وكان ينظم إلا أنه قليل. كان قد سعى بالقاهرة على أن يكون كاتب إنشاء بدمشق، وقام بأمره الأمير سيف الدين بغا الدوادار في أيام السلطان الملك الناصر محمد بن قلاوون، فوقف القاضي شهاب الدين بن فضل الله في طريقه وأبطل ما كان قُرّر من أمره. وكان أخيراً ناظر السُّبع الكبير وغيره. ومولده فيما أظن سنة إحدى وتسعين وست مئة. وتوفي رحمه الله تعالى في ثاني عشر شهر رجب الفرد سنة اثنتين وستين وسبع مئة بدمشق.
