محمد بن علي بن حرمي الشيخ الإمام الفاضل الفرضي المحدث عماد الدين أبو عبد الله الدمياطي. سمع من الدمياطي، والأبرقوهي، وبنت الإسعردي وطائفة بمصر، وبدمشق من الموازيني، وابن مشرف. وسمع بقراءتي " المقامات الحريرية " وغيرها على شيخنا العلامة أثير الدين، وعلق عني أشياء. وكان حلو المحادثة، كثير التودد، غزير المحاسن، وله خصوصية زائدة عن الحد بقاضي القضاة عز الدين بن جماعة، ولي مشيخة الكاملية. وتوفي رحمه الله تعالى في سابع جمادى الأولى سنة تسع وأربعين وسبع مئة بطاعون مصر.
