محمد بن أحمد بن بدر بن تبع الشيخ المقرئ صلاح الدين أبو الحسن البعلبكي القصير. روى عن ابن عبد الدائم. قال شيخنا البرزالي: وذكر لنا أنه حدث ببغداد لما سافر إليها لاستنفاذ ولده. وكان رجلاً جيداً فيه خير ودين ومعروف، وعنده مروءة، مواظب على قراءة القرآن. توفي - رحمه الله تعالى - بالمدرسة الرواحية سابع عشر جمادى الأولى سنة عشر وسبع مئة. ومولده سنة اثنتين وأربعين وست مئة. وشيعه جماعة.
