    قبلاي الأمير سيف الدين الناصري ولي نيابة الكرك في الأيام الصالحية إسماعيل لما أخذت من أخيه الناصر أحمد، فأقام بها مدة، ثم طلب إلى مصر، وأقام إلى أن ولي الحجبة الصغرى مع الأمير سيف الدين أمير حاجب أيتمش الناصري، ثم إنه ولي الحجبة الكبرى، ولم يزل على ذلك إلى أن خلع السلطان الملك الناصر حسن، وتولى الملك الملك الصالح صالح، فولاه نيابة السلطنة بالديار المصرية عوضاً عن الأمير سيف الدين بيبغاتتر، وذلك في شهر رجب الفرد سنة اثنتين وخمسين وسبع مئة.وتوفي - رحمه الله تعالى - في أوائل سنة ست وخمسين وسبع مئة.
