    علي بن عبد الله بن مالك الشيخ الصالح الإمام الفاضل نور الدين أبو الحسن الدمديطي، بضم الدال المهملة الأولى وبعدها ميم ساكنة ودال ثانية مفتوحة وياء آخر الحروف ساكنة وطاء مهملة، الشافعي. كان يعرف قطعة صالحة من أنساب العرب، ويذاكر بذلك، وله شعر. وتوفي رحمه الله تعالى بالقاهرة، ودفن بمقابر الصوفية خار باب النصر في آخر صفر سنة سبع وعشرين وسبع مئة.
