علي بن عبد الله بن عبد القوي ابن الحسن بن أبي المجد بن ناجي بن سليمان المدلجي، الشافعي، المعروف بالعصلوجي. كان فقيهاً مدرساً بمصر، روى كتاب الشهاب للقضاعي عن الحافظ رشيد الدين العطار القرشي، وسمع منه أمين الدين الواني وغيره. وناب في الحكم عن ابن دقيق العيد بمصر. وتوفي رحمه الله تعالى في رابع شهر الله المحرم سنة سبع عشرة وسبع مئة. ومولده في صفر سنة ست وأربعين وست مئة.وان ينعت بالقاضي جلال الدين بن أبي الحسن.
