    علي بن الحسين بن علي بن بشارة الفاضل علاء الدين أبو الحسن الشبلي، بالشين المعجمة والباء الموحدة واللام، الدمشقي الحنفي. سمع كثيراً من اليونيني، وسمع بنفسه، وكتب، وأعاد، وتأهل للإفتاء. وتوفي رحمه الله تعالى في شعبان سنة أربع وثلاثين وسبع مئة. ومولده سنة تسعين وست مئة في غالب الظن. وولي إعادة المدرسة الشبلية. قال شيخنا علم الدين البرزالي: سمع معنا كثيراً، ورافقته في الحج رحمه الله تعالى.
