    عبد الكافي بن عثمان الشيخ جمال الدين المعروف بابن بصاقة الحيسوب كان كاتباً متصرفاً، يعرف صناعة الكتابة الديوانية، وهو من قدماء الكتاب، وعمر وضعف. وتوفي رحمه الله تعالى في تاسع شعبان سنة أربع وثلاثين وسبع مئة، ودفن بمقابر الصوفية، وصلي عليه في جامع الأمير سيف الدين تنكز. وكان حسن الأخلاق.
