    ابن أبي سوادة القاضي بهاء الدين كاتب السر بحلب، اسمه علي بن علي بن محمد.توفي - رحمه الله تعالى - في ضحى نهار السبت، منتصف شهر رجب الفرد سنة أربع عشرة وسبع مئة. ومن شعره، وقد توفي القاضي عز الدين عبد العزيز بن القيسراني، مما كتبه إلى أخيه: وحقّك ما تركت الكتب عمداً ... بتعزيةٍ على هذا المصاب ولكن كلّما أثبتّ سطراً ... محته دموع عيني من كتابي وكتب إليه أيضاً: ولمّا قضى واستهدم الصّبر بعده ... وكنّا نرجّيه لإعدامنا كنزا بكينا وأجرينا الدّموع تأسّفاً ... ولم يجدنا فيض الدّموع ولا أجزى ولا تسألوا عن حالتي في رزيّتي ... وما حال مضنىً فارق الجاه والعزّا السواملي: جمال الدين إبراهيم بن محمد.
