جعفرابن محمد بن عبد الكريم بن أحمد بن حجون بن محمد بن حمزة: الإمام المفتي ضياء الدين أبو الفضل الصعيدي الشافعي الحسيني. درس بمشهد الحسين، وبمدرسة زين التجار. وسمع وهو شاب من ابن الجميزي وأبي القاسم السبط. وكان قد برع في المذهب، وأفتى أربعين سنة من عمره، فأفنى مدتها في ذلك وأذهب، وخدم العلم زمانا، وكان على استخراج معانيه معانا. ولم يزل الضياء على حاله إلى أن محي، ودفع إلى حفرته ودحي. ووفاته رحمه الله تعالى على سنة ست وتسعين وست مئة. ومولده سنة ثمان عشرة وست مئة.
