    إسحاق الأمير علم الدين الحاجب كان بحلب حاجباً، فترامى إلى الأمير سيف الدين تنكز - رحمه الله تعالى - فولاه نيابة حمص، وأحضر تقليده من مصر، وألبسه تشريفة بدمشق في ثالث جمادى الآخرة سنة اثنتين وثلاثين وسبع مئة، وتوجه إليها فلم تطل مدته في هذه النيابة. وتوفي - رحمه الله تعالى - وكان قد تولى نيابة حمص بعد الأمير علاء الدين طيبغا قوين باشي، الآتي ذكره - إن شاء الله تعالى - في مكانه.
