أحمد بن محمد بن سعد ابن عبد الله بن سعد بن نفلج الشيخ الصالح الفاضل المسند عماد الدين بن الأديب العالم شمس الدين المقدسي الصالحي الجنبلي. روى عن المجد القزويني، وابن الزبيدي، والإربلي، وابن اللَّتي، وابن المقيّر، وأجاز له الموفق وفتح الدين بن عبد السلام، ومسمار بن العويس.وحدّث قبل الستين، وحجّ مرات، وحدّث بالحجاز وحماة ودمشق إلى أن ناحت به النوائح، وقامت في ناديه الصوائح. توفي رحمه الله تعالى سنة سبع مئة في المحرّم.
