إبراهيم بن الحسين بن صدقة بن إبراهيم شرف الدين أبو إسحاق البغدادي المخرمي الدمشقي. سمع من ابن اللتي، وأبي نصر بن عساكر، وأبي الحسن بن مقير، ومُكرم بن أبي الصقر، وجعفر الهمداني.وأجاز له ابن صباح والناصح وأبو الوفاء محمود بن منده. تفرد وروى الكثير وعُمر دهراً، وأصفت له الحياة الشهية نهراً، وكان حسن الأخلاق، تزكو محاسنه على الإنفاق، يؤم في مسجد، ويغير في التسميع وينجد، إلى أن نزل ضريحهُ، وسكن الموتُ ريحه. ولد سنة أربع وعشرين وست مئة، وتوفي رحمه الله تعالى سنة تسعٍ وسبع مئة.
