    خصيف بن عبد الرحمن الجزري الحراني أبو عون من موالي بني أمية مذكورا في الميزان أنه ضعفه أحمد وقال مرة: ليس بقوي وقال ابن معين صالح وقال مرة ثقة وذكر كلام غيرهما لكن لم يذكره بالاختلاط إلا أنه قال وقال أبو حاتم: تكلم في سوء حفظه إلى آخر كلام فيه. وقد ذكر الحافظ شهاب الدين ابن حجر في كتاب التقريب للتهذيب ما لفظه: "صدوق سيء الحفظ خلط بآخرة" انتهى.٣٤ -[د س]
