[٩٥٩٠] عُفيرُ بنُ مَعدانَ، أبو عائذٍ، الحَضْرميُّ (¬٥)، ويُقالُ: اليَحْصِبيُّ (¬٦). عن سُلَيمِ بنِ عامرٍ، وعطاءٍ. وقالَ (¬٧) يزيدُ بنُ عبدِ ربِّه: ماتَ أَبو مَهديٍّ سَنَةَ ثمانٍ وستّينَ ومائةٍ. قالَ يزيدُ: هو (¬٨) مولدي. ومات عُفيرٌ قبل أبي مَهديٍّ بِسنتَينِ، أوْ نحوِها (¬٩)، كانا كِلاهما بكَّاءَينِ.
