    [٢٨٠٤] حَجَّاجُ بنُ أَبي عُثمانَ، أَبو الصَّلْتِ الصَّوَّافُ (¬٤). واسْمُ أَبي عُثمانَ: مَيْسَرةُ. كنَّاهُ ابنُ أبي عَدِيٍّ. سمِعَ يَحيى بنَ أبي كَثيرٍ. رَوى عنه أَبو عاصِمٍ. وَقالَ (¬٥) يَحيى القَطَّانُ: هوَ فَطِنٌ (¬٦)، صَحيح، كَيِّسٌ (¬٧). ويُقالُ أيْضًا: اسمُ أَبي عُثمانَ سالمُ بنُ شِهابٍ. مَوْلى التَّوءَمةِ (¬٨) بِنتِ أُمَيَّةَ (¬٩) بنِ خَلَفِ بنِ عَمْرٍو الوائِدِيِّ (¬١٠).

    ٢٨٢٢ - حجاج بْن أَبِي عثمان أَبُو الصلت الصواف، واسم أَبِي عثمان ميسرة كناه ابْن أَبِي عدي، سَمِعَ يَحْيَى بْن أَبِي كثير، روى عَنْهُ أَبُو عاصم وَقَالَ يَحْيَى القطان هو فطن صحيح كيس، ويقال أيضا: اسم أَبِي عثمان سالم بْن شهاب مولى التوأمة بنت أمية بْن خلف بْن عَمْرو الوليدي (٣) .
