    [١٣٨٤] أَشْعثُ بنُ عُمرَ (¬٧) التَّمِيمِيُّ، الحَبَطِيُّ، البَصريُّ (¬٨) (¬٩). سَمِعَ عمرَ بنَ عبدِ العزيزِ، كَتَب إلى عَدِيٍّ؛ أَنِ احْفِرْ (¬١٠)، وابنُ السَّبِيل (¬١١) أَوَّلُ رَيَّانٍ، وَإِنَّ حَرِيمَهَا طُولُ رِشَائِها (¬١٢).قاله لنا (¬١) قُتيبةُ، عن عُبَيسِ (¬٢) بنِ بَيْهسٍ. وقال لنا (¬٣) موسى بنُ إسماعيلَ: حدَّثنا عُبَيسٌ (¬٤)، سَمِع أَشْعثَ (¬٥) بنَ عمرٍو.
