[١٣٨٠] أَشْعثُ بنُ سَوَّارٍ الكِنْدِيُّ، الكُوفيُّ (¬٥). قاله مَرْوانُ. وقال (¬٦) عليُّ بنُ المَدِينيِّ: هو (¬٧) مولى لِثَقيفٍ، وهو الأَثْرمُ. سَمِعَ الشَّعْبيَّ، ونافعًا. رَوَى عَنْهُ الثَّوريُّ. وقال لي (¬٨) ابنُ أَبي الأسودِ: سَمِعتُ عبدَ الرَّحمنِ بنَ مَهْدِيٍّ، قال: سَمِعتُ سُفيانَ يقولُ: أَشْعثُ أَثْبتُ مِنْ مُجالِدٍ.قال شُعْبةُ: حدَّثني (¬١) أَشْعثُ (¬٢) الأَفْرقُ، قال (¬٣) أحمدُ: الأَفْرقُ، النَّجَّارُ.
