    [٥٩٨١] يحيى بن حبيب بن عَرَبي، الحَارثيُّ، وقيل: الشَّيبانيُّ، أبو زكريا البَصْريُّ (¬١). روى عن: حماد بن زيد، ويزيد بن زُرَيْع، وخالد بن الحارث، وعبد الوهاب الثَّقَفِي، ومُعْتَمِر بن سُليمان، ورَوْح بن عُبادة. روى عنه: أبو حاتم، وسئل عنه، فقال: صدوق. ومحمد بن إسحاق ابن خُزيمة، ومسلم، وأبو داود، والترمذي، والنسائي، وابن ماجه، وزكريا بن يحيى السَّاجِيُّ. قال أبو العباس السراج: مات بالبصرة سنة ثمان وأربعين ومئتين.
