    [٥٩٤١] هِلال بن يَسَاف، ويقال: ابن إساف، أبو الحسن الأشْجَعِيُّ، مولاهم، الكُوفيُّ (¬٢). أدرك عليَّ بن أبي طالب. وروى عن: ابنه الحسن، وسمع أبا مسعود الأنصاري، وعبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص، وسلمة بن قيس، وسويد بن مُقَرِّن، وفَروة بن نَوْفل، وأبا عبد الرحمن السُّلَمِي، والربيع بن عَمِيلَة. روى عنه: إسماعيل بن أبي خالد، ومنصور بن المعتمر، وعَمرو بن مُرَّة، وحُصين بن عبد الرحمن، وأبو مالك الأَشجعيّ، وعَبْدة بن أبي لبابة، وسعيد بن مَسروق الثوري. قال أحمد بن عبد الله: كوفي، ثقة. روي له: الجماعة.
