[٥٠٣٩] الفضل بن دَلْهَم البصري، وقيل: الواسطيُّ القَصَّاب (¬١). روى عن: الحَسَن البَصْريّ، ومحمد بن سيرين، وقتادة، وعوف الأعرابيّ، وثابت البُنانيّ. روى عنه: محمد بن القاسم الأَسَديّ، وعبد الله بن المبارك، ووكيع، ويزيد بن هارون، وهشام بن الوليد المَخْزُوميُّ، ومحمد بن خالد الوَهْبيُّ. قال أحمد بن حنبل: ليس به بأس (¬٢). وقال يحيى بن معين: صالح. وقال أبو داود: ليس بالقوي، ولا بالحافظ. وقال أبو حاتم: صالح الحديث. وقال ابن الجُنَيْد: في القلب من أحاديثه شيء. روي له: أبو داود، والترمذي، وابن ماجه.
