[٤٧٣٢] عمر بن الدِّرَفْس، أبو حفص الدِّمَشْقِي الغَسَّاني (¬١). يقال: إن الدِّرَفْس كان مولي معاوية بن أبي سفيان، فحمل عَلَمًا يسمى الدِّرَفْس، فَلُقِّب به. سمع: زرعة بن إبراهيم، وعبد الرحمن بن أبي قَسيمة الحَجْري، وعُتبة بن قيس. روى عنه: الوليد بن مسلم، وهشام بن عمار، وابنه الوليد بن عمر، وأبو النضر إسحاق بن إبراهيم الفَرَاديسي، وأبو مُسهر عبد الأعلى بن مُسهر، ويحيي بن حمزة القاضي، وسليمان بن عبد الرحمن. قال أبو حاتم: صالح ما في حديثه إنكار. روي له: ابن ماجه.
