[٤٥١٥] عَطِيَّة بن قيس الكِلابي، وقيل: الكَلَاعِي، أبو يحيى الحِمْصي المعروف بالمذبوح، وقيل: إنه دمشقي (¬٣). قال أبو مُسْهِر: ولد في حياة رسول الله ﷺ. روى عن: عبد الله بن عمر، وابن عمرو، ومعاوية بن أبي سفيان، وعبد الرحمن بن غَنْم، وأبي الدَّرداء، وعمرو بن عَبَسة، وعَطِيَّة بن عُروة، والنُّعمان بن بشير، وبسر بن عبيد الله، ويزيد بن عميرة. روى عنه: ابنه سعد، وربيعة بن يزيد، وأبو بكر بن أبي مريم، وسعيد ابن عبد العزيز، وعبد الله بن العلاء، وداود بن عمرو، وعبد الواحد بن قيس، وعبد الله بن يزيد. قال ابن سعد: مات سنة إحدى وعشرين ومئة، وهو ابن أربع ومئة. روى له الجماعة إلا مسلمًا.
