[٣٦٣٥] عبد الله بن أبي أحمد، واسمه: عبد بن جَحْش بن رِئاب بن يَعْمَر بن صيرة بن مُرَّة بن كبير -بالباء بواحدة- بن غَنْم بن دودان بن أسد بن خُزَيمة بن أخي عبد الله، وعبيد الله، وزينب، وحمنة، وأم حبيبة، بني جحش (¬١). أدرك النبيَّ ﷺ، وروى عن أبيه، وعلي بن أبي طالب، وابن عباس، وكَعْب الْأَحبار. روى عنه: ابنه بُكَيْر بن عبد الله، وسعيد بن عبد الرحمن، وحسين بن السائب بن أبي لبابة، وعبد الله بن الأشج. قال أحمد بن صالح: هو من كبار تابعي أهل المدينة، وقد لقي عمر ابن الخطاب ﵁.روى له: أبو داود.
