[٢٨١٣] سَعْد بن عُبيد المَدَني، أبو عبيد الزُّهْريُّ، مولى عبد الرحمن بن أَزْهَر، ويقال: مولى عبد الرحمن بن عوف، وهو ابن عمه (¬١). سمع: عمر بن الخطاب، وعُثْمان بن عَفَّان، وعلي بن أبي طالب، وأبا هريرة. روى عنه: الزُّهريُّ، وسعيد بن خالد القارِظي. قال الزهري: كان من القُرَّاء، وأهل الفقه. توفي بالمدينة سنة ثمان وتسعين، وكان ثقة، وله أحاديث. روى له الجماعة.
