    [٢٧٧٢] سالم بن عبد الله البَصْريُّ الخَيَّاط، نَزَل مكة (¬٢). روى عن: الحسن البَصْريِّ، وعطاء بن أبي رباح، وعن أعرابي عن النبي ﷺ (¬٣). روى عنه: محمد بن إسحاق، وسفيان الثَّوْريّ، والوليد بن مسلم، وعبيد الله بن موسي. قال يحيى بن آدم: سمع سفيان سالمًا المكي وكان مرضيًّا. وقال أحمد بن حنبل: سالم الخياط شيخ، ثقة.روي له: أبو داود، والترمذي.
