[٢٦٩٤] زياد بن حسَّان بن قُرَّة الأعلم، البَصْري الباهلي (¬٢). نسيب عبد الله بن عَوْن، وأَشْعَث بن عبد الملك، وحَمَّاد بن زيد، وسعيد بن أبي عَرُوبة، وهَمَّام بن يحيى. قال عبد الله بن حنبل: سمعت أبي يقول: زياد الأعلم ثقة، ثقة. وقال يحيى بن معين: ثقة. وقال أبو حاتم: هو من قُدماء أصحاب الحسن. روى له: البخاري، وأبو داود، والنَّسائي.
