[٢٦٤٦] الزُّبَيْر بن الخِرِّيت -بكسر الخاء والراء، وتشديد الراء- البَصْريُّ، أخو الحَرِيش بن الخِرِّيت (¬١). سمع: عِكْرمة مولى ابن عَبَّاس، وأبا لَبيد لمُازَة بن زَبَّار، وعبد الله بن شقيق. روى عنه: جرير بن حازم، وحمَّاد بن زَيْد، وأخوه سعيد بن زيد. وقال أحمد بن حنبل، ويحيى بن معين، وأبو حاتم: هو ثقة. روي له الجماعة إلا النَّسائي.
