[٢٥٤٤] ذَكْوان، أبو عَمْرو، مولي عائشة أم المؤمنين (¬١). سمع: عائشة ﵂. روى عنه: علي بن الحسين، وابن أبي مُلَيْكة، ومحمد بن عمرو بن عطاء، والأَزْرَق بن قَيْس، وأبو يزيد المدينيُّ، وكانت عائشة دبرته وقالت: إذا واريتني فأنت حر. قال عروة: كان ذكوان غلام عائشة يَؤمُّ قريشًا، وخَلَّفه عبد الرحمن بن أبي بكر؛ لأنه أَقْرَأهم للقرآن. قال محمد بن عمر: مات ليالي الحرة. وقال بعضهم: أحسبه قتل بالحرة في ذي الحجة سنة ثلاث وستين. روى له: البخاري، ومسلم، وأبو داود، والنَّسائي.
